1. To provide quality- testing services on foods, chemicals and other elements, including those of environmental control.
2. To perform accurate microbiological test.
3. Strictly adhering to the standards of quality control (ISO/IEC 17025) by handling the lab equipment, reagents and chemicals with care and according to the lab procedures.
4. To observe closely rules on occupational safety and health (OSHA).

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervises the operations of the laboratory so that it runs smoothly and schedule.
2. Ensures that all test procedures follow the Good Laboratory Practices guidelines.
3. Responsible for the documentation and implementation of Quality control procedures.
4. Ensures that all staff are aware of the laboratory test procedures and Quality Assurance is practiced in all lab divisions.
5. Monitor test reports and ensures that correct test reports are produced. Authorized to sign test reports.
6. Assist in facilitating all trouble shooting sessions in the lab pertaining to lab equipment, procedures and instrumentation.
7. Visiting branch laboratories throughout the country to assist branch managers on all matters pertaining to their respective quality requirement on quarterly basis and when necessary.
8. Upkeep lab facilities.

2. To carry out sales plan and marketing strategies to increase the business volume and expand present market position.
3. To assist in conducting marketing trend analysis and research, competitors’ promotions & activities and also to provide sales forecast and budget.
